Jan­uary 25: Mt Buller Cham­ber Mu­sic Sum­mer School Con­certs. The Mt Buller Cham­ber Mu­sic Sum­mer School runs each Jan­uary in the Mount Buller village. Each year the sum­mer school presents two ex­tremely pop­u­lar free cham­ber mu­sic con­certs in the Alpine Chapel. From 8:30pm. The Sum­mer School wel­comes fam­ily groups to this concert. Jan­uary 26: Mans­field CWA Bake and Craft Mar­ket. Come along on Satur­day morn­ing and en­joy cakes, jams and pre­serves just like your nanna made. 9.30-1pm. Op shop will also be open, so grab a bar­gain while you’re there. Held at the CWA hall in High street.

Jan­uary 26: Mans­field Cit­i­zens cer­e­mony, held in High Street. Come along and en­joy a com­pli­men­tary bar­be­cue break­fast and free en­ter­tain­ment, Cit­i­zen­ship Cer­e­mony and Af­fir­ma­tion, ac­knowl­edg­ment of Cit­i­zen and Com­mu­nity Event Award win­ners and flag rais­ing cer­e­mony.

Jan­uary 26: Kev­ing­ton Re­gatta. A great day out for the whole fam­ily, grab your lilo, your kayak or just your swim­mers and head to 5171 Mans­field-Woods Point Road, Ten Mile (Sailor Bills Creek Bridge, 4km south by road from Kev­ing­ton Ho­tel) for a pad­dle down­stream. Event starts at 10.30am. Life jack­ets are rec­om­mended.

Jan­uary 27: Mu­sic in the vines 2019. Come along to De­latite Win­ery and en­joy some cold wine and lo­cal beers, piz­zas, plat­ters, and a sausage siz­zle on the night. There will also be gourmet pic­nic ham­pers by the Pro­duce Store which must be pre-or­dered. There will be en­ter­tain­ment for chil­dren, in­clud­ing a face painter, a jump­ing castle and wa­ter sprin­klers. Re­lax and lis­ten to mu­sic played by Mau­rice Mi­lani, Rose Han­ratty and Char­lie and Jones. No byo food or al­co­hol.

Fe­bru­ary 7: ‘Friends of the Great Vic­to­rian Rail Trail’ monthly meeting at the Mans­field Li­brary, 3:00pm. A com­mu­nity group work­ing to­wards the developmen­t and pro­mo­tion of the rail trail to in­crease its eco­nomic ben­e­fit to the lo­cal com­mu­nity. Fe­bru­ary 9: Tack­ling the 7 Peaks is a tough chal­lenge, but one that is made eas­ier and more en­joy­able with the com­pany of like-minded cy­clists. Join your hosts ‘The Soup Boys’ on a group ride to con­quer Mt Buller’s pic­turesque 7 Peaks climb. Make sure you have reg­is­tered for the 7 Peaks Chal­lenge and have the 7 Peaks Ride app down­loaded. Meet at 7:30am at ticket box, Mir­im­bah. For more in­for­ma­tion, call 5728 2773.

Fe­bru­ary 16: Come along to De­latite Win­ery and learn how to pick grapes. From 10am-2pm, come along for a morn­ing of pick­ing the 2019 vin­tage grapes with our amaz­ing vine­yard man­ager, Matt. Learn all about the process of pick­ing grapes in­clud­ing the ben­e­fits of hand­pick­ing and how we choose when to pick. This event will be fol­lowed by a lunch with wine­maker Andy Brown­ing, and num­bers are limited to 20.
