Lo­cal meets Michael Jack­son’s fam­ily at Mel­bourne con­cert

WHILE at­tend­ing The Jack­sons in con­cert, Mans­field’s Liam Wil­son won a so­cial me­dia com­pe­ti­tion to meet The Jack­sons af­ter the show in Mel­bourne, along with 18 other win­ners.

Fol­low­ing the meet and greet in Mel­bourne, the pro­duc­ers of the con­cert in­vited Liam to their Ade­laide con­cert, af­ter which he had a pri­vate halfhour chat with the Jack­sons in their dress­ing room.

Not only did Liam get to meet the broth­ers of Michael Jack­son, he was in­vited to per­form for them which was a dream come true for Liam.

At the end of their meet­ing Liam said he felt like one of the broth­ers.

And the broth­ers were amazed by the per­for­mance Liam had pre­pared for them.

Liam ‘Bugsy’ Wil­son is well known for busk­ing at the Mans­field mar­kets and is study­ing Per­form­ing Arts at Tran­sit Dance, Mel­bourne and has been in 30 pro­duc­tions over the past two years in­clud­ing the lead in a Mo­town Med­ley at Crown Casino.

Dur­ing his gap year he trav­elled to ev­ery sin­gle sig­nif­i­cant Jack­son land­mark in­clud­ing their fam­ily home in Gary In­di­ana, Nev­er­land, The Apollo Theatre in New York where the Jack­sons per­formed as a young Jack­son 5, Michael Jack­son’s record­ing stu­dios and his fi­nal home and gravesite to name a few.

Liam also re­ceived a let­ter from the Jack­sons’ fa­ther, Joseph, for his 21st birthday.
