St Mary’s say no to bul­ly­ing

ST Mary’s hosted an early cel­e­bra­tion of Bul­ly­ing No Way Na­tional Day of Ac­tion on Thurs­day, Fe­bru­ary 28.

Class-based lessons, as well as a pop up ra­dio (fea­tur­ing anti-bul­ly­ing songs), and a per­for­mance by Meerkat ti­tled ‘Bully Bull Ring’ were only some of the ac­tiv­i­ties stu­dents par­tic­i­pated in on the day.

School per­form­ing arts and well-be­ing lead­ers, who ran events on the day, high­lighted that ev­ery day should be a day of ac­tion against bul­ly­ing and pro­vided some key strate­gies such as seek­ing help and stand­ing up for oth­ers.
