Man caught driving unregistered vehicle

Mansfield Courier - - News -

A MAN appeared at the Mansfield Magistrates Court, where he faced charges for driving an unregistered work vehicle.

The vehicle was parked at the Woods Point Hotel, where police noticed that it didn’t have any warning or number plate lights.

After producing a licence and some discussion, the police discovered that the man had changed the registration plates of the vehicle from work plates to his own.

The man had previously been caught driving the vehicle while unregistered on a public holiday in 2018, when he received a $420 fine on the spot.

The man was asked whether he would like to seek legal advice, and after accepting the offer, the hearing was adjourned until further notice.
