Two teenagers airlifted to hospital
PARAMEDICS treated two teenagers injured in an accident while on a camp at Howitt Plains in the High Country on Friday, November 15.
A boy and a girl suffered head injuries when they had a minor fall while forming a human pyramid during the previous night.
Wilderness response paramedics and SES volunteers made their way to the camp site early on the Friday morning before calling for an air ambulance to take them to Wangaratta.
The air ambulance was able to land close to the campsite.
The teenagers were then flown to Wangaratta airport and were then taken by road to Northeast Health (Wangaratta Hospital) in a stable condition.
