Help shape the footpath and shared pathway strategy
MANSFIELD Shire Council has released its draft Footpath and Shared Pathway Strategy to the public for consultation.
The strategy will guide council as it considers improvements to existing footpaths, proposed expansions and new connections.
Mansfield Shire’s draft Footpath and Shared Pathway Strategy is now available for public consultation.
You can view the draft strategy on the Engage Mansfield website and give your feedback via a short survey.
There is also a map-based tool allowing you to suggest two new paths that you would like built.
Mayor Mark Holcombe encouraged the community to give feedback.
“This is your chance to formalise your views and thoughts about the public footpath network, which is important as our community grows and changes,” said Cr Holcombe.
“We look forward to feedback from the community about how the footpath network supports our healthy and active culture in Mansfield Shire.”
You can leave a suggestion or use the map to pinpoint where a new footpath should exist at engage.mansfield.vic.gov.au/footpath-and-shared-path-strategy.
Submissions close September 17.
