You can help prioritise Mansfield Shire’s connectivity
RIGHT now, the community has a stand-out opportunity to improve mobile and broadband connectivity across the shire. Community input is needed. This is your chance to tell the Victorian Government where mobile and broadband improvements should be made.
If the community gets on board, improvements will be made to our shire’s network.
The Victorian Government is putting $550 million into the Connecting Victoria program.
The aim is to fast-track better mobile coverage and broadband across the state.
Mayor Mark Holcombe said the size and reach of this grant presented an unparalleled opportunity for our community.
“Council is asking for better connectivity across existing trouble spots, as well as planning for future development,” Cr Holcombe said.
“We’re considering how and where we will use mobile and broadband as our population grows and changes.
“Our submission will advocate for what businesses, workers and families require now and what our community will need into the future.
“This is a unique opportunity for individuals, community groups and businesses.
“Help us advocate for our shire to receive upgrades or new infrastructure to improve the network our community depends on.”
Have your say about connectivity issues where you live or work, and when you are out and about.
