AQUARIUS AND AQUARIUS RISING

With intense times ahead, the Water Carriers will need to tap into their inner strength

LOVE AND RELATIONSHIPS

The most monumental moment in 2024 for love and relationships doesn’t arrive until December, when Mars retrograde (December 7 – February 24) could raise temperatures with your significant others (partners, best friends, business partners). As frustrating as it may be at the time, try to look beyond the irritation and instead approach misunderstandings as opportunities to learn. Jupiter should lend a hand to help you bring a sense of playful curiosity to otherwise tense scenarios. Cast your mind back to October 2022 – January 2023 (when

Mars was last retrograde in Leo) for clues on the kind of issues that could come up for you.

The higher lesson here is advocating for yourself in relationships. Asserting yourself, allowing yourself to be seen and admired – easier said than done for Aquarian folk – and being upfront emotionally is the major takeaway.

FAMILY AND HOME

While the eclipses have cleared the way for fresh starts around where you’re living, you’re dealt one final burst of “why the hell not!” spontaneity in the first half of 2024 when Jupiter and Uranus team up. It’s the kind of space weather that will see you go out for coffee on a Saturday, wander into an open home “just for a look” and then find yourself signing a contract a couple of hours later. Thrilling, exhilarating and very spur of the moment. Consider yourself warned!

In the second half of the year, once Jupiter shifts into Gemini (May 26), you’re entering a 12-month cycle that’s especially fertile for all things baby related. If you’ve been on the fence about starting – or adding to – your family, don’t be surprised if you’re suddenly feeling a little clucky.

CAREER AND MONEY

Serious thoughts and long-term considerations around where you’re going financially continue to dominate 2024, as Saturn asks you to get real and take responsibility for all things fiscal. It’s not fun work per se, but very necessary for setting you up for the future.

When you find yourself faced with tricky money questions (March looks potentially confusing), let the long-term picture and your future goals continue to be the framework for your decision-making process. If things feel like they’re being stretched to the limit, or put to some kind of pressure test, that’s because they are. This is a time to figure out what you want to keep, and what you’re ready to let go, especially around the eclipse of September 18.

HEALTH AND WELLBEING

Some gentle respite is coming your way towards the end of the year when Pluto finally leaves Capricorn. As Pluto, the planet ruling power, control and fear, leaves the part of your chart related to your subconscious, you might find yourself dealing with a final test of your resilience. If you do find yourself feeling a little out of sorts, take comfort knowing that transit will be done by November 20.

Once it shifts into Aquarius, you’ll have a whole new energy to attune to, as issues of fear, power and control are more firmly focused on your everyday life. While it may sound intense, you’ll have the chance to master a sense of power, potency and inner strength.

“Being upfront emotionally and allowing yourself to be seen and admired – easier said than done for Aquarian folk – is the major takeaway”
