Inconsiderate motorists

Maroochy Weekly - - NEWS | OPINION -

ON MY morning walk today I had three incidents which invoked my anger. I was heading down River Esplanade at Mooloolaba to cross at the lights to Parkyn Parade. Lo and behold, a sliding door taxi pulled on the crossing to pick up a passenger. By the time they had moved on, the lights had changed.

Further on, with my walking stick and slow gait, I was hindered again while a fellow stopped at the surf club laneway waiting for traffic, right across my intended path. The last straw was when a white 4WD pulled out in front of me, blocking the footpath, on its way into Brisbane Rd. — CHARLES K JOHNSTON Mooloolaba
