ABBA and Gavenny, named after the Welsh towns loved by their owner, are 10-year-old Moodles. Their devoted owner has now moved into palliative care. This brother and sister duo are great mates. They are house trained and know basic obedience commands. This pair are inside dogs that like to sleep next to your bed. Best suited to a family without small children.

We have had some fierce storms these few past weeks and we have had calls for many lost pets. Often times a good Samaritan finds the pet and there is no identifying tags on the animal. Make sure your pets details are up to date on their micro-chips and that name and council registration tags are always on and up to date .If you are at work and have a storm nervous pet, give a key to a family friend or neighbour to put them inside with the radio. Also look at Thunder Shirts another helpful product in anxiety dogs. Prevention is the key.

If you find a pet take it to a vet if you can to scan for a chip. If you are unable to get to the vet in the first instance take a photo, then in both cases post it on Sunshine Coast Lost Pet Register on Facebook. Many dogs are returned to the owner by this page. Also make sure the person collecting the dog has proof of ownership. If we work as a community dogs can get home safely and quickly without too much distress.
