MOOLOOLABA BOAT PARADE

MAY I take this opportunity to wish you all a safe, peaceful and joyful Christmas and new year and encourage you to join in on Saturday, December 22, as we cheer on the brightly lit boats from vantage points along the Mooloolah River from 6.30pm.

Thanks to the Mooloolaba Yacht Club, this year’s event will raise funds for the Sunshine Coast branch of Rosies Friends on the Street, JOIN THE CAMPAIGN

FEWER people using our buses than five years ago is evidence the Sunshine Coast public transport system needs fixing.

About 8000 people are moving to our region every year, but figures show that 120,000 fewer bus trips were made across our region this year, compared to 2013-14.

That’s why I’ve sponsored a petition to call on the Labor Government to provide a better public transport system to support our growing population and bust congestion.

To sign my e-petition, go to the website, parliament.qld.gov.au.
