128GB (8X 16GB) G.SKILL TRIDENT Z F4-3200

-

128GB OF MEMORY IS ABSURD. Couple that with the fact we’re running them at 2,666MT/s, and we’re on to a crazy amount of bandwidth. Realistically, this is for the professional, the guy looking to render 8K videos and above on a daily basis. And even then, can we really justify it? Probably not. So, what we can do with all that memory, then? RAM disk. Yep. Although not the stablest of platforms, dedicating 32GB of RAM to an on-startup RAM cache would speed up data transfers and load times considerably in certain applications. And it’ll still leave you with a sizable 96GB of RAM to do with what you will. Mad, right? To fill that, you would need to have 768 Google Chrome tabs open at any one time. On top of that, G.Skill’s Trident Z series looks spectacular. The aluminum heatsink and sharp white accents really make each stick pop, and with eight running in quadchannel, it looks absolutely killer next to our silver EKWB waterblock, and on the X99-E-10G WS motherboard, too.
