BE QUIET! DARK POWER PRO 11

LAST YEAR’S Dream Machine needed two PSUs to power its pile of Titans. But thanks to the improved power efficiency of the Pascal architecture, the pair of 1080s we’re using will be much less of a strain on our outlets. To keep efficiency at a maximum, we opted for the Be Quiet! Dark Power Pro 11, which offers 1,200W of power along with 80PLUS Platinum certification for up to 94 percent power conversion efficiency.

In addition to keeping our power bill down, the Dark Power Pro won’t wake the baby. It uses an airflow-optimized 135mm SilentWings 3 fan, featuring a fluid-dynamic bearing, copper core, and a six-pole motor to reduce vibration. The fan opening is also funnel-shaped, allowing for high air intake.

The PSU is almost fully modular to help with cable management. It also has an overclocking key to allow switchover between quadruple independent 12V-rail and high-performance single-rail modes.
