Set Up a PBX

A PBX—OR SWITCHBOARD— is a great thing to play with. While you can hook up a physical phone line to your Pi via hardware, it’s more practical to route a SIP-linked number (from the likes of Skype) or a Google Voice account, which translates PSTN to VoIP for you. Asterisk, a seasoned PBX, can route calls through your home, deal with conference calls, and more—and the inclusion of the FreePBX web front end makes its dedicated distro more fathomable than setting it up from scratch. http://raspberry-asterisk.org
