Some extra space is nice, sure, but unless you have specific requirements, a 1TB, 2TB, or 4TB hard drive is probably all you need, and will set you back $50–$180. You can now pick up hard drives up to 12TB, although they cost over $500. This 10TB model is a little more reasonable.
