Looking at the statistics for Black Friday and Cyber Monday highlighted a couple of things. Firstly, that lots of us are searching for bargains on the very latest gear—no real surprise there—and such bargains are incredibly rare. The other big takeaway was that there were some incredible deals on the storage front: SSDs (both SATA and NVMe) are much more affordable than they were a year ago anyway, and with a discount on top of that, plenty of us could be seen reaching for our credit cards to give our systems a huge boost to performance and capacity. The really good news is that it looks like these price tumbles are going to continue through 2019.
