I’ve recently reviewed a few pre-built systems—Asus ROG Strix, Corsair Vengeance, Walmart OverPowered—but the most interesting one was an NZXT system I designed myself. Call me old, but back in my day, there were no fancy custom pre-built services. During the pre-Internet days, we’d go the store and pick out a computer. Now there are companies that build a PC to your specifications, then ship it to you. This is a new discovery for me, because I only recently started writing about hardware. As much satisfaction as I get from building my own PC, my time grows increasingly limited, so I might give NZXT or another such service a try when I build my next PC.
