There’s so much to see and do
THE delightful, sassy Poppy Cherry and her troupe of Maison Burlesque dancers are coming back to Heathcote to strut their stuff during the three-day Queen’s Birthday festival.
Her show Burlesque De Vine wowed sell-out audiences at the Toolleen Hotel last year and this time around the curtains will open at the Silver Spoon Estate at Mt Camel, which has again sold out.
The intimate Taste of Winter In Paris show will be held in a special marquee erected for the one-night-only performance on Sunday, June 10. Burlesque artists Jane Doe and Canada’s Maple Rose will join hostess and MC Poppy Cherry and guests can wine and dine with a decadent four courses of French cuisine with matching wines. And there’s more.
Munari Wines is also getting into the act with its Mid-Winters Night show. They have assembled a line-up of musical acts including Busy Kingdom, Rock-Reggae band Del Santo and Indie rockers Izzy Losi and The Auracles.
The powerhouse female vocalist, songwriter front woman and pianist Izzy Losi and her band The Auracles received rave reviews for their sophomore EP The Only Constant is Change in 2017 and more recently with single A Little Too Close.
It’s all happening on Saturday, June 9 from 6.30pm, with beer and wine at the ready and food available from Soul M8’s Food Truck.
The Heathcote Supper Club presents wine, food and film and a special viewing of The Somm at the High Street RSL on Saturday, June 9 at 6pm. Flynn’s Wines will again be holding its signature Shanks and Shiraz lunch with live music on Saturday and Sunday and lunch and dinner heads the bill at The Heathcote Inn with live music on Sunday afternoon.
The Shiraz Republic winery and brewery is your one-stop-shop for great wines and craft beer as well as live music, a burger bar, open fires and a pool table.
