A few months ago, sci­en­tists from Rus­sia col­lected and an­a­lysed 300 pre­his­toric worms from the per­mafrost in the Arc­tic. After thaw­ing out, two of the worms be­gan to move and eat. One is 32,000 years old and the other, 41,700 years old.
