Help re­duce waste go­ing to our land­fill

COUN­CILS, busi­nesses and com­mu­nity groups lo­cated in the Lod­don Mallee Waste and Re­source Re­cov­ery re­gion or groups who pro­vide ser­vices within the re­gion are in­vited to ap­ply for the 2018 Lod­don Mallee Land­fill Di­ver­sion Fund.

The fund will as­sist or­gan­i­sa­tions to de­liver best prac­tice projects that help re­duce the amount of waste go­ing into Land­fill.

Ap­pli­cants can ap­ply for funds up to $100,000.

Ap­pli­ca­tions close 2pm on Mon­day, Novem­ber 26.

All projects must align with the strate­gies and ac­tions in the key pri­or­ity ar­eas of the Lod­don Mallee Waste and Re­source Re­cov­ery Group Busi­ness Plan, and the Lod­don Mallee Waste and Re­source Re­cov­ery Im­ple­men­ta­tion Plan.

Po­ten­tial ap­pli­cants must dis­cuss their project idea with the Lod­don Mallee Waste and Re­source Re­cov­ery Group be­fore start­ing an ap­pli­ca­tion.
