Free session to learn about first aid and Heathcote’s defibrillators
DID you know Heathcote has several Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) scattered throughout its facilities and community groups?
Do you know where they are and would you be comfortable using one in an emergency?
All those questions will be answered at a free community defibrillator and first aid session on December 4 provided by the Heathcote and District Community Bank.
You’ll learn how to use an AED, where they are located, as well as basic first aid training provided by St. John’s Ambulance.
It’s on at the Barrack Reserve Complex. A free sausage sizzle will be held from 4.30pm and the session will run from 5.30pm to 7.30pm.
