Christ­mas is in the air, and on the roof


IT’S be­gin­ning to feel a lot like Christ­mas af­ter Santa parked his sleigh on top of the Heath­cote Vis­i­tor Cen­tre.

The fes­tive cheer is tak­ing over town with a range of Christ­mas events on the hori­zon.

De­cem­ber 7 will see a visit from the lit­tle Christ­mas elf at the Heath­cote Li­brary. One of Santa’s helpers is com­ing to Heath­cote Li­brary and she needs help from chil­dren un­der the age of 5. Come and help Candy track down the miss­ing Christ­mas car­ols. The mis­sion starts at 9.30am.

Christ­mas din­ner is on at the Heath­cote RSL on De­cem­ber 15. The night be­gins at 6pm and the ticket price in­cludes din­ner, dessert, raf­fles, bar and door prizes and live mu­sic fea­tur­ing Tony Gill. Bar­rack re­serve will be alive with the sound of mu­sic on De­cem­ber 15 as the Li­ons Club present Christ­mas car­ols in the park. The evening fea­tures the Marist Brass Band and Santa is ru­moured to be mak­ing an ap­pear­ance. It’s on from 7pm.

The fes­tive spirit is be­ing felt around Heath­cote.
