A study in cook­ing cre­ativ­ity

MUR­DOCH Univer­sity stu­dents got cre­ative on Fri­day, De­cem­ber 7, while show­ing off their bak­ing skills.

Staff and stu­dents from the School of Ve­teri­nary and Life Sciences gath­ered for the first Bake Your The­sis com­pe­ti­tion, which re­quired them to bake cakes that rep­re­sented their ar­eas of re­search.

Fif­teen stu­dents took part dur­ing the morn­ing, with John-Michael Stu­art crowned the win­ner for his red fox cake.

A to­tal of $2000 worth of prizes were do­nated by the Harry But­ler In­sti­tute for the day.
