With Chris, I’ve tried every diet un­der the sun. Here’s the best one: eat whole­foods. Base your meals around lean meat, legumes, veg­eta­bles and fruits. Dodge pro­cessed carbs and don’t count kilo­joules; just eat to sati­ety when hun­gry. And lis­ten up: when it comes to look­ing great train­ing’s im­por­tant, but diet is the key.

BE A CRAWLER

I’m a big fan of the bear crawl for warm­ing up but also as a to­tal-body ex­er­cise. Go­ing for­ward, your legs are the mo­tor, while in re­v­erse your shoul­ders take over. Your core’s switched on the whole time, too.

ROOM FOR IM­PROVE­MENT

You can do body­weight train­ing any­where. Right now I’m in Italy and I can work out on my Juliet bal­cony. It’s hard to get huge with body­weight, but chis­elled and strong? For sure! Just keep up­ping the sets and reps and/or the dif­fi­culty of the move.

LESS PAIN, MORE GAIN

An­other plus of body­weight train­ing is you can do it ev­ery­day with­out an­ni­hi­lat­ing your­self like a sin­gle leg day with heavy loads can do. It’s about con­sis­tent, mod­er­ate stim­u­la­tion that leaves you feel­ing great all day.
