I’d been meaning to read Room for a while. When I finally did, it curled my toes and I found myself compelled to keep reading until the early morning, just to see how everything ended. Since it is all he has ever known, Jack likes living in Room and believes that it constitutes the real world, while everything he sees on TV is completely separate and not real. Jack and his Ma are “looked after” by Old Nick. One night, everything changes and Jack is forced to deal with the discovery of an entire new world.
