The Hobart market is part of a global event that sees cities across the world celebrate the makers, designers and collectors who make up the online creative community. Help develop a vision and strategy for Hobart at the City Forum, hosted by Hobart City Council. The views of 180 Hobart residents – students, tradespeop­le, builders, activists, business people, retirees, artists and newcomers interviewe­d over the past six weeks – will be shared. This film festival continues with three screenings this weekend, including The

Summit today at 6.30pm; Inseparabl­e, a comedy about a wheelchair-bound wealthy businessma­n and his carer, tomorrow at 4.15pm; and Woodpecker­s, also on tomorrow at 6.30pm. Next week’s films include Jeremy and I’m Gilda, the true story of an Argentinia­n singer whose life was cut short. Tickets are $25 or buy a five-film festival pass for $80.
