SIMON TEDESCHI
I was happiest when … I met my wife.
You wouldn’t know it but … I love very dark movies. My most embarrassing moment … when I was 13 with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra and I shook the wrong violinist’s hand in front of 2000 people. The last time I cried was … when I watched Tell Me Who I Am on Netflix.
The last book I read was … The Histories by Herodotus.
My favourite films are ... Rosemary’s Baby, The Wicker Man (the original), Suspiria (the remake). I really want to … be able to run 5k in 20 minutes. My guilty pleasure is … coffee.
Life has taught me … that I know nothing about it. I’m about to … eat lunch, then read.
My first job was … the same job I’m still doing. My most memorable work-related moment is … winning the Symphony Australia Young Performer of the Year in 1998.
What I enjoy most about my work is … never feeling good enough to play it (it’s also what I hate about it).
