DORNEY HOUSE AT FORT NELSON 24 Gardenia Gr, Sandy Bay Open Saturday, November 12, 10am-4pm Described as a “humble masterpiece”, this Esmond Dorney building (pictured, right) is the third iteration of the architect’s own home. Shuttle buses will take visitors to the house on the top of Fort Nelson. #THEBAETAS
Unit 12, 8 Margaret St, Sandy Bay Open Saturday, November 12, 10am-4pm Designed by two award-winning, emerging architects #TheBaeTAS is a cleverly reimagined ‘70s bedsit that defies the space BRICKWORKS DESIGN STUDIO 9 Franklin Wharf, Hobart Open Saturday, November 12 & Sunday, November 13, 10am–4pm A contemporary retail and design space within a historic waterfront building – a good example of adaptive reuse in a heritage context. Open House headquarters with free coffee all day.
FUSILIER COTTAGE

An 1830s cottage and contemporary extension (pictured, below) with sliding glass doors and timber screens that can be used in various combinations to change how the cottage interacts with the street and garden. KALJUVEE HOUSE

SV MAY QUEEN VESSEL Constitution Dock, Hobart Open Saturday, November 12, 10am–1pm Australia’s oldest sail trading vessel and one of only a handful of wooden vessels from the era still afloat.
