Government House, the Governor of Tasmania, Professor the Honourable Kate Warner, and Mr Warner hosted a presentati­on ceremony for the Governor’s Trophy on behalf of the Royal Hobart Golf Club. In the afternoon, the Governor and Mr Warner hosted a luncheon in honour of the visit of the US Consul-General, Ms Frankie Reed, accompanie­d by Ms Sarika Thach, Political/Economic Assistant, Consulate General of the United States, Melbourne, and which was attended by Associate Professor Joanne Dickinson and Ms Madeleine Ogilvie. In the evening, the Governor and Mr Warner hosted a presentati­on ceremony for the Defence Reserves Support Council Employer Awards for 2015.
