What is the Stronger Communities Program?

The Lyons Stronger Communities Program offers grants of between $5000 and $20,000 to community organisations and local governments within the Lyons electorate for small capital projects that improve community participation and contribute to the vibrancey of our wonderful towns and communities. The Bridgewater and Perth offices of Brian Mitchell MP will hold information sessions for interested groups in the coming months, but if you are interested in applying, we encourage you to start planning as soon as possible.

What you can do now

At this stage the office of Brian Mitchell MP is collecting Expressions of Interest. This is an informal and preliminary step, and can be as simple as submitting your name and address and email and phone contact details, the name of your organisation, the project you would like to have considered and the funds you are seeking. We will get in touch with you in order to submit more documentaion as the program progresses.
