Flawed vote

WITH the Yes vote prevailing, one has to wonder as to the legitimacy of the result. We had a costly, flawed plebiscite/survey. Many stolen voting papers and no one person-one compulsory vote mechanism. Flawed outcome by a flounderin­g and flawed government.

Stop everything

YOU just can’t understand the logic of the stop-everything greens. After generation­s of Bruny Island travellers pleading to have the Neck road finished, they do nothing but complain. It was their policy to stop woodchippi­ng and forestry that has resulted in the island being the fire hazard it is. I hope they are ready to man the pumps when the next big fire goes through there.
