It’s definitely heartwarming stuff. Then, talented chef Karen Martini whips up a roast leg of lamb, infused with the classic flavours of garlic and rosemary. ABC, 7.30pm Since its revamp and new hour-long format, GardeningAustralia has blossomed into a specimen different from the seed which sprouted almost 30 years ago. Plant segments segue into cooking, while landscaping trickles into eco tips and inspiring community stories. Tonight, Sophie does something slightly unusual: she transforms a pool into a pond. Meanwhile, Costa cooks with chef Ben Shewry, while Jane Edmanson explores the commemorative power of poppies.
