Blues train rolls on

-

ROUND 3 of Old Scholars football promises some interesting challenges, one when Richmond tries to build on last week’s form when it plays host to DOSA.

Despite the loss of key position players the Blues have unearthed talent in their midfield, complemented by the acquisition of former Roosters forward David Cragg, who bagged four goals against Hutchins. DOSA was pushed by St Virgil’s apart from a finalquarter onslaught last week, but overall consistency will be required. Jeff Fisher celebrates game No.100.

First-round winners OHA and Hutchins lock horns at Geilston Bay, with the Ships primed to turn the tables from last year’s elimination-final defeat. The Lions disappointed last week but they could have Tom Allwright, William Hay and Henry Johnstone back.

University’s Grant King and Sam Chivers will each celebrate game 50 in their return bout with St Virgil’s. Rainbows are shining bright and should go three from three.
