Chocolate Cake bids low-key farewell

“Hobart will be our second last gig, so I guess that’s a big deal,” Mountfort said.

“We love playing in Hobart. We absolutely love the Peacock Theatre at Salamanca, it’s a beauty. We played there years ago (1996 and 2002) — it’s been quite a long time — but we had lovely gigs there.

“It’ll be great to play in Hobart again, we’re looking forward to it.”

Performing songs from The Revival Meeting alongside old favourites from their extensive back catalogue, My Friend The Chocolate Cake play two shows at the Peacock Theatre (Salamanca Arts Centre) on Saturday July 28, starting at 3pm and 8pm.
