Roger’s lucky break

Mercury (Hobart) - - SPORT TRIATHLON -

ROGER Federer has been accused of receiving umpire “favouritism” by Spanish world No.28 Bautista Agut after the tennis legend advanced to the Shanghai Masters quarter-finals. Agut lashed out at the umpires after his successful forehand was called out by a linesman in the deciding set, forcing the point to be replayed. Federer then broke Agut’s serve and went on to take the set 6-4. “It is not the first time that favouritism has occurred,” Agut said. “I do not think I lost by that ball, but in my opinion I do not think the referee was right.”
