BRISBANE indie outfit Ball Park Music are teaming up with San Cisco to visit Hobart next week as part of a co-headline tour that has been years in the making.

It has been seven years since Ball Park Music released their debut album, Happiness and Surrounding Suburbs, and 2018 has been another bumper year for the band.

January saw their feel-good hit Exactly How You Are land at No.18 on the triple j Hottest 100 countdown. Then in February their critically acclaimed fifth album, Good Mood, debuted at No.5 on ARIA charts.

What followed was a hugely successful sold-out national tour and a headline e slot on Groovin’ The Moo.

Now they are teaming up p with another celebrated indie act, San Cisco, for a national tour.

“We’ve been dreaming of f putting a tour like this together for years,” says Ball l Park Music frontman Sam Cromack said.

“Discussions between bands often get kickstarted for an idea like this, but we’re so happy to see this tour actually come to fruition.

“We’re absolutely buzzing to play some of the biggest venues we’ve ever tackled, and to do it with San Cisco by our side is going to make for a very memorable tour.”

Last year San Cisco released their third album, The Water, and embarked on one of their biggest tours to date, playing 21 shows in 46 days.

They have cemented themselves as festival favourites, playing Splendour In The Grass, Beyond The Valley and Lost Paradise.

Ball Park Music, San Cisco and Sydney rocker Ruby Fields play in The Goods Shed at Macquarie Point from 7pm on Wednesday. Tickets are $66, go to www.moshtix.com.au for bookings.
