Coke’s last straw the real thing

ENVIRONMENTAL groups have welcomed Coca-Cola Amatil’s decision to replace plastic straws with paper in Australian outlets, but have warned consumers not to be complacent about disposal. The company yesterday said it would phase out plastic straws and stirrers over the next two months and replace them with recyclable, biodegradable ones.
