VICE-REGAL

Yesterday at Government House, the Governor of Tasmania, Professor the Honourable Kate Warner, and Mr Warner received the Governor-General of the Commonweal­th of Australia, His Excellency General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove, and Lady Cosgrove. In the evening the Governor and Mr Warner hosted a formal dinner to mark the visit to Tasmania by the Ambassador of China, His Excellency Mr Cheng Jingye, and Madam Wang Fang.
