Huon job losses

I WATCH the news and read the papers. I can understand the need to bring tourists back to the Huon Valley for the benefit of businesses affected by the fires. What I do not understand is why no politicians have raised the issue of severe job losses in the area, not just tourism. I have not seen any politician come down and speak to or shake the hands of the people affected by job losses and property damage. I know there have been promises made from Scomo that will help. So Scomo, how about a forestry hub in the South help the valley’s future. Nick McKim, how about saving people’s futures instead of dedicating millions to save a few trees and some green moss. These will heal in time but some people never heal. From my partner and myself, we wish all those affected the best of luck for the future.
