Arrows bid to claim big scalp
FIXTURES
AYC-FRIENDS Arrows will be looking to hand Cavaliers their first loss for the season in tomorrow’s top-of-the-table State League netball clash at Hobart Netball and Sports Centre.
Cavaliers are undefeated and have proved they are the team to watch with impressive wins over last year’s grand finalists Northern Hawks and Arrows. Even more impressive is that Cavaliers have been missing key defenders for the past few weeks.
Previous Tassie Spirit (ANL) and state player Dannie Carstens has pulled on the dress to help fill the gaps. Carstens has not played for several years, but the return has been impressive.

“This doesn’t happen overnight, it has been built from a number of quality and skilled committee members, coaches, support staff and athletes over a long number of years with a focus on building capacity across all roles to ensure continued success.”
This weekend also sees several key matches with Cripps Waratah, Kingston Blues and St LukesHealth Karana all vying for fourth spot on the ladder at the halfway point of the season.
Today Cripps meet Cavaliers, Kingston take on Northern Hawks and St.LukesHealth will be needing a win against Devon.
