Mercury (Hobart) - - LETTERS -

IN response to “Bus ban on the cards” ( Mercury, November 8), the safety assessment mentioned is being done by an experienced consulting firm to guide future infrastructure spending on Pinnacle Rd. It is part of a proactive approach to ensure the safety and integrity of the road into the future, as the traffic volume continues to increase. The assessment will take into account vehicle crash data and traffic profile in assessing what safety measures or road improvements may need consideration in future budgets. There is no proposal at this time to ban any specific types of vehicle from Pinnacle Rd.
