MADISON de Rozario and Vanessa Low have added two more gold medals to Australia’s haul at the World Para Athletics Championships.

De Rozario took out the 800m (T53) final while Low’s success in the long jump (T61-63) to add to the four gold medals won by Australian men during the first five days of competition in Dubai.

Australia is in the top five of the medal table with six gold, four silver and five bronze after six days.

The two other Australian medals on day six were bronze to wheelchair racer Eliza Ault-Connell in the 400m (T54) and Rhiannon Clarke in the 100m (T38).

De Rozario, who collected the 1500m silver on Monday night, said: “The 800 is a tricky one as you don’t have a lot of time and you sometimes second-guess your decisions ... I saw a gap which was a little earlier in the kick than I would normally do... but I committed and finished strong.”
