Madness to lose farm
WHAT a stupid decision of the state government in charge when they closed the Hayes farm. It was self-sufficient, the inmates were contented, there weren’t many absconders and everything ran smoothly. I know several of the inmates and it gave them a new outlook to their lives. They had things to do and learned new skills. Discipline was the order of the day and everybody accepted it.
