Brand launch is simply natural
A NEW Tasmanian wool brand will be launched in the industry’s most important export market as part of an upcoming trade mission.
Twelve local wool growers will be part of the trade mission to China, where the new Natural Tasmanian Wool brand will be launched.
The brand has been developed by Roberts Limited, which is now part of the Nutrien Ag Solutions business, and will replace its previous merino wool brand.
Nutrien Ag Solutions Tasmania general manager John Tuskin said the new brand will apply to all types of wool and microns, with a strong focus on world’s best practice in ethical wool production, animal health and welfare and sustainability.
“Tasmanian wool is second to none,” Mr Tuskin said. “Natural Tasmanian Wool will be traceable from the farm to the finished product, enabling consumers to connect with our wool growers and understand our farmers’ commitment to sustainably growing wool and managing their land for future generations.”
The woolgrowers will travel to China as part of a Tasmanian Government delegation, from December 9-14.
