Nar­ryna gets into spirit of Christ­mas

THE hub of Ho­bart’s her­itage, with spir­its in hand and spirit in heart, will hail hun­gry hu­mans this Satur­day on Ham­p­den Rd.

Nar­ryna Mu­seum is host­ing its fourth an­nual Christ­mas Spirit Mar­ket from noon to 6pm, com­plete with liquor, mu­sic and mas­ter­classes, in a col­lab­o­ra­tion be­tween lo­cal dis­til­leries, foodies and the mu­seum.

And for the first time the gar­den, court­yard and spa­ces within and be­hind the mu­seum will be ac­ti­vated by a “Spir­ited Lunch”, a tick­eted food and her­itage ex­pe­ri­ence at the hands of Frank Restau­rant and Bar’s head chef, Scott Hef­fer­nan.

“You don’t get to work in a space like this very of­ten,” Mr Hef­fer­nan said look­ing over the gar­den and wooden shel­ter be­hind the mu­seum that houses the story of early colo­nial life in Ho­bart.

Tick­ets for A Spir­ited Lunch are lim­ited and can be bought from nar­ryna.com.au. En­try to the mar­ket, mas­ter­classes and ex­hi­bi­tion are $5 on the door.
