Narryna gets into spirit of Christmas
THE hub of Hobart’s heritage, with spirits in hand and spirit in heart, will hail hungry humans this Saturday on Hampden Rd.
Narryna Museum is hosting its fourth annual Christmas Spirit Market from noon to 6pm, complete with liquor, music and masterclasses, in a collaboration between local distilleries, foodies and the museum.
And for the first time the garden, courtyard and spaces within and behind the museum will be activated by a “Spirited Lunch”, a ticketed food and heritage experience at the hands of Frank Restaurant and Bar’s head chef, Scott Heffernan.
“You don’t get to work in a space like this very often,” Mr Heffernan said looking over the garden and wooden shelter behind the museum that houses the story of early colonial life in Hobart.
Tickets for A Spirited Lunch are limited and can be bought from narryna.com.au. Entry to the market, masterclasses and exhibition are $5 on the door.
