MPs going rogue

Mercury (Hobart) - - LETTERS -

SORRY Greg Barns but aren’t Sue Hickey and Madeleine Ogilvie as bad as each other (“A matter of Signposts and Weathercocks,” Talking Point, December 2)? Both elected as members of Liberal and Labor parties respectively and expected to work with their side of politics by the long suffering voters. Instead Hickey and Ogilvie went rogue, with no mandate to justify their bizarre decisions. Hickey is not a signpost politician Mr Barns. Just because you like her flights of fancy. If she is a signpost she would be permanently spinning in the breeze or perhaps just pointing vertically like a question mark. Ogilvie is not a weathercock either, just an opportunist. Voters can see right through them.
