DON­ALD Trump re­ceived the Queen’s red car­pet treat­ment for the sec­ond time in less than six months as the US Pres­i­dent de­flected ques­tions about Prince An­drew and Amer­ica’s plans for the UK’s pub­lic health ser­vice.

The Queen met with Mr Trump and his wife Me­la­nia, who was wear­ing a $9000 yel­low Valentino coat, as world lead­ers gath­ered in London to cel­e­brate the 70th an­niver­sary of the NATO mil­i­tary al­liance.

The Queen spent time chat­ting with Mrs Trump at the Buck­ing­ham Palace re­cep­tion.

She also chat­ted to other lead­ers, in­clud­ing Ger­many’s An­gela Merkel.

Prince Charles and Camilla,

and Kate, the Duchess of Cam­bridge, also gave the event some royal star power.

Mr Trump praised Bri­tish Prime Min­is­ter Boris John­son and promised Bri­tish vot­ers he was not in­ter­ested in their trea­sured pub­licly funded Na­tional Health Ser­vice dur­ing an al­most hour-long press con­fer­ence yes­ter­day.

He also said he “did not know” Prince An­drew – de­spite the pair be­ing pic­tured to­gether with no­to­ri­ous pae­dophile Jef­frey Ep­stein.
