Future generations
IT is simply not on to even contemplate road access into remote Tasmanian wilderness. “Wilderness” is and should remain a wild untamed place of natural beauty. Nature that has remained in its original state since time immemorial, unsullied by modern man’s intrusion and mechanical footprint. Man-made bells and whistles including roads, cable cars and helicopters do not equate to maintaining wilderness areas in their original state!
When old age and debility preclude access to wilderness areas that we once walked with ease, so be it.
Our unique Tasmanian wilderness must be left for future generations to learn from and enjoy, as we have been so privileged to do.
