PRINCE Charles, his wife Camilla, Prince William and his wife Kate could be the new royal “fab four” after their first joint outing in nine years yesterday.

The royal quartet had a whistle-stop tour of England’s East Midlands county of Leicestershire yesterday, where William tried his hand at wheelchair basketball as his dad joked with him.

They visited a veterans’ hospital in Loughborough, north of Leicester, where William tried – and failed – to shoot some basketball hoops. His father lent a hand by moving the wheelchair a few metres closer to the basket.
