Woman critical after falling from vehicle
A NORTH-WEST woman is in a critical condition after falling from the back of a vehicle on a private property on Saturday night.
Tasmania Police said officers and members of the Tasmania Ambulance Service were called to a property on West Gawler Rd, Gawler, about 8.30pm.
A small group of people were gathered at the private property, which police said was compliant with current COVID-19 restrictions, when a 20-year-old Ulverstone woman fell from the rear tray of a vehicle in which she was travelling. She suffered serious injuries and was flown to the Royal Hobart Hospital in a critical condition.
The matter is being investigated by police.
